My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
oh fabulous!
I say green..so kate spade…but then blue and orange is like your signature….
keep looking! every once in a while, a vintage or thrift store will have them. i was lucky enough to find a perfect set of three in a “free” pile at a garage sale once…you just never know where you’ll find a great deal!
I have always had an obsession with the yellow suitcases from J.Crew. If I had an extra $3000 I would buy a stack for my living room.
What a find! I love the blue and brown combo.
Oh no! Sad they sold out. I was admiring them this morning as well. My problem though? I would want to stack them, like in the first photo, and in that case they’re too matchy-matchy. You have such a great idea. .. you’ll be able to find suitcases at an antique store/fair no problem 🙂
LOVE stacked suitcases! I rounded up some of my faves awhile ago..

Hope you find some that work!
I know I was sooo upset when I saw them ‘sold out’ too, what a bummer because they were just what I was looking for next to my son’s bed :(.
that first image…swoon! hope you find some soon! congrats on your new business site, it is fabulous!
I adore the blue set! I would love to use them for travel! Instantly distinguishable amongst a sea of black canvas!
luv luv luv the suitcases! Just to let you know – I have found zillions of fantastic ones at our local goodwill – worth a try.
I enjoy your blog everyday!

Those are adorable. I’m so sad that I didn’t even know about them until you posted saying they were gone. Google to the rescue….

Thank you Stephanie!
Looks like Stephanie has your answer because her link has them a bit cheaper (after shipping), but just in case they’re on Amazon as well. Saw it in Lucky magazine just tonight! http://shorl.com/rolofrufraprufra
