My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
love it 🙂
Oooh I love it too!! It would be a great gift for anyone!!

I gave a card to my sister once that said that…it’s a lovely mantra…
Best,
Michelle
That is a great inspirational quote.
Don’t hate me— I purchased the print for my office and the listing said only one available.
Feeling a bit down lately as it seems I have had to reinvent myself loads of times. I needed some pep art.
First a lawyer, then I had/have an interior design business. When that slowed down (after a good 5 year run) I started my blog. Love. Blogging and have some loyal readers, but in no way am I viral! Since I like design writing so much, my current dream is to write a design book. Whoa. no clue how to even manage that one.
Lots of different dreams. For sure. Lynn
Your mantra is actually a version of a quote which reads, “It’s never to late to be what you might have been.” which in this exact form, is widely attributed to the English Novelist George Eliot, (aka Mary Anne Evans) but that I have not found in any of her writings verbatim. It has also been attributed to the author from the same time period, Dinah Maria (Mulock) Craik….I am not sure who said it, or how they said it exactly, but as a 52 year old it has been my mantra for some time and I continue to live by it today!……..
You are correct Deb. My magnet credits George Eliot. Great mantra.

Oh, I *love* that quote! Thanks for sharing… I pinned it so I’ll remember to make something with it.
