My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
That looks like such a cool place to poke around in. I’ll definitely have to stop the next time we’re down in the city.
That is so fabulous!! Wish we had one in Phx. If we do, I don’t know about it yet!
This store looks so amazing! I wish I were in New York so I could check it out! I actually went to a giant antique store this weekend in Chicago that had amazing old maps and cameras for a steal. Gotta love second-hand!
You East Coast kids get all the cool stuff!
What a fun place!! Thanks for sharing it with those of us who live in the middle of no where! We can live vicariously through you!
Looks like the coolest place ever!! Love your needlepoint!
What a great idea. I love to hear about great recycling efforts. Might have to hop over at pay it a visit as I’m in NY all week.
I did actually talk my husband into stopping at the big thrift store in Dallas I’ve been dying to check out. Found a brass candlestick for $4….got home and found a hidden tag that read ‘1860 – English, $125’
Excuse me?!?!?!
What a cool concept. I never thought about what happened to all of that stuff and how great that it gets re-used and as a non-profit. Very cool – thanks for sharing!
This place looks like so much fun! Love the cute artwork you picked up.
What a great idea! I’m just wondering what a box full of “creepy clowns” could be?

I want to go! One of my favorite places is Midland Market in Indianapolis. It’s an old sash and window factory. I made a recent trip there. Check out my finds.
