Summer Loving…
Yesterday we got a dose of sunshine and 60 degree weather. It was amazing and had me day dreaming of weekends out east. Of course dreaming of out east has me thinking of a second home. That’s not happening anytime soon, but a girl can dream and I already found the perfect home in the Hamptons!

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I love this house and miss East Hampton. Hoping to get out there this summer, but no house of our own unfortunately this year 🙁
Love the oustide like crazy- and that blue tufted sofa makes me crazy…gorgeous colour used in this home.
I’m having an abstract art moment too! Any suggestions on where to find some great pieces?
The exterior is breathtaking and I could literally live in that foyer! I’m such a sucker for a beautiful staircase!

I had to giggle though when you referred to heading “out east”… to a Seattle girl you’re about as far east as you can get!

That’s pretty much my dream house…blue white crisp and clean and LOVE the nantucket shingle.
I’d love to know where the lanterns over the kitchen island can be found.
