My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I love the look of painted furniture! I’m (fingers crossed) picking up a Craigslist bench that’ll be painted teal to sit at my dining table.
I ove this color and such a pretty combination!!
Love this look! I love the particular fabric and color used on the chair you showed, but I’m also loving chairs painted bright orange, pink, etc. Thanks for sharing.
I love that chair!!
Painted wood is fabulous, especially on accent chairs! Usually, but not in all cases, painted wood is cheaper than stained wood. I’m wondering if the econo my is the reason for seeing more bold, painted furniture? Your thoughts?
I love this look and have done this several times myself!
I grew up in a home where my mom took a paint brush to furniture frequently. Easy way to switch it up.
Good to know!! Thanks for sharing!
