My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I adore her work! I’ve used the custom portraits in a client project (and blogged about it) and I pretty much love them.

Hi there!! First off, HAPPY HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!! It looks like your adorable party was a smash : ) You look so cute in your flapper gear! And yes, I’ll take one of those cakes.
Second of all, fabulous NY Times article. I love hearing about how people break into design, ESPECIALLY Avery because she went to my alma mater (UGA)!
And finally, I am obsessed with anything watercolor and this is totally up my alley. It’s too bad I saw this now- our wedding anniversary was yesterday and this would have been a perfect gift to my hubs! Definitely still on my “want” list! Thanks for sharing! xo
