My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
love it!! I wish I had 2500 to work with now, let alone right after college lol!!
Love the color scheme and the framed shopping bags. Perfect for a new grad fresh out of college because it’s such a fresh yet sophisticated look. I love the mix of organic, bold and traditional. Very eclectic and unique.
Wow I am a young-single-one-year-out-of-college-paying-your-own-bills-first-apartment-girl
But how and where do I find that $2,500 to work with? Because I want pretty much all of that.
Except the maroon colors.
I saw this in the mag yesterday and was highly impressed! I really love the polished, but not too grown-up, look of the space. Dead on.
I saw it yesterday! Great surprise to see someone I follow in the ezine. Love the design for your faux client!
Love them, and love your feature!
xo xo
Great items you’ve pulled together! Will we finally be meeting next week at blogfest?
Gorgeous! Love those colors and that beautiful couch!
I really like how you incorporated the framing of shopping bags. Most girls love to shop and stores like Vickie’s Secret, etc have really cute bags. A perfect, cheap and virtually free way to give a wall some color.
