Technical Difficulties

It turns out that there was a car accident on my block this morning where a car slammed right into a power line. It looks like everyone is okay except for the power line, which means I have no power and I’m typing this post up from my iphone. Not an easy feat.

My weekend recap will have to wait until tomorrow. Fingers crossed my power is back at some point today. I have a fridge full of groceries and now nothing to keep it all cool.

Since I have nothing insightful to say design wise today I’m sending you over to check out the new online magazine, House of Fifty, which is brought to life by one of my favorite bloggers, Janell from Isabella and Max.

I will hopefully be back in action tomorrow.

    Oh, no! Having a fridge full of groceries and no power is the worst. Crossing fingers it comes back on quickly for you as well. So glad everyone is okay.

get inspired with our own home tour

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
