My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I saw the preview of this and her work is just amazing!
p.s. you have a beautiful blog!
Just a thought… have you ever considered doing an “In Her Shoes” for yourself? I know I would love to see it!
What a fun, talented, brilliant artist Julia D. is! Thanks for featuring her work and I look forward to following her blog and talent.
Hoping you have a terrific weekend!
oh my! Love her work!! I’m off to check out her blog! Thanks for featuring her!
I have to run out and get “Audrey” tomorrow. I hope they have it in my bookstore. Thanks so much for posting about it. I wish I could draw like Julia.
My best- Diane
So cute! Great idea framing these sweet images, they would make beautiful artwork.
I had to order Just Being Audrey when it first came out, and it’s been sitting in my living room ever since. Never mind that it’s a children’s book, and both of my children are boys, I had to have it. Love your idea of framing up the pages. The illustrations are just gorgeous.
I just saw this book this past weekend and it is sooo cute. Wish I would have gotten it. I love you idea of framing the pictures.
