Style Plan: Citron & Slate
I recently completed a living room style plan for a e-decorating client that I love. While my client originally wanted to go with a yellow and gray color scheme, but she felt it was a bit over done. She simply didn’t want to tire of it in couple of years. I decide to give her a look that a bit more lasting but simply tweaking the hue a bit and yellow & gray became citron & slate.
Favorite pieces of the look have to be the console:
Love the rustic yet chic look it has to it and the price was the best part! Only $239! We needed all of the budget finds we could get with the fabric splurges we made.
My other favorite budget friendly find is the rug. It reminds me one of my favorite fabrics:

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
One of my favorite combos, love how you changed the yellow to citron !
