Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday. I love the meaning behind it, love getting together with family, and love, love, love the yummy food. I spend the morning in bed watching the parade and then catch up on the dog show while I prep for the day.

This year is even more special, because we have so much to be thankful for. As many of you know we had a tough time getting pregnant so the fact that I have a growing belly now and I’m due in a couple of weeks is still shocking to me.

Even more special is that on this date 12 years ago Jon and I officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Can you believe it? 12 years! Now we have  been married for almost 6 and about to become parents. Crazy!

The only thing missing from my favorite holiday is my youngest sister who is off in London! She will be back home for winter break in about 2 weeks and I’m so excited!

A big thanks to all of you for coming along on this journey with me. Thank you for supporting my blog, my business and most importantly being a great support system of friends throughout the globe.

    Happy Thanksgiving Sissy!! And happy million-year anniversary with Jon!! I SO wish I could be there!!! Mom will have to find someone else to set the table, but if you could plop a laptop in place of a plate at my usual seat and Skype me into dinner that would be greatly appreciated! ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
