Look for Less: Bar Cart Table

  1. laxsupermom says:

Great find! With just an added shelf, it would be a near twin of that first cart. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I am a big fan of these industrial carts and think they would look great sprayed a bright color.

For the wire thing on the side (if you recreated) you could do one of those shower caddy things you put over the shower head? and then for the top get the plate separator thing you use for your cabinets. if i had an ikea i’d say go there but otherwise go to walmart 🙂 but that is a great idea to recreate! i would love to do this!

  4. Sara says:

You rock with the bargain finds!! I’m SO going to Harbor Freight Tools with my husband next time he goes….wonder what other treasures they have?? Thanks for sharing!

  5. I really want a bar cart too, but have no where to put one! That CB2 one is really cute

  6. Eli K-W says:

I have the red cart in my living room right now! Two, actually. One holds my husband’s gaming systems and the other holds my sewing machines. We assembled mine with the top upside down, so it’s more like a work space than a tray. I can wheel the sewing machines into the other room when we need the space.

There is one other industrial touch in the room. I doubt this will go over well, but I have a truck tool box as a coffee table. I love it. People can put their feet on it and I’m not offended. It’s virtually indestructible, and holds rarely-used items.

  7. Kate Collins says:

You are always sooo good to us with your amazing finds. My mouth dropped with the price. I’ve been wanting a bar cart but haven’t been able to justify the prices to my husband. This bad boy is justifiable and super cute. I love the red!

  8. What a great little shelf! I would consider it as shelving in a little kid’s room too! Or maybe a bath? Very fun!

  9. It’s funny because at my DAY JOB :-/ we have a cart that we use for files and things of that sort in the office and it looks exactly like the red one. Just earlier this week I told a coworker how I could spray paint that “bad boy” and make it into a bar cart.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

new-farrow-and-ball-paint-color-picks-for-my-house

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
