My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
It is so much fun connecting with those who have the same mindset as you, and who don’t get bored with you talking about paint swatches and such! LOL Off to read your post!
I was just on the phone with my friend who just returned from the Paris Show. I wrote my very first comment on her blog, which i found by typing on google: interieurs design blogs… We have since met many times and have developed a really wonderful friendship. We are actually planning a trip to morocco. She has visited me in Connecticut and I always stop for a quick visit on my way to Whistler…Thank you digital world!
Is it wrong I am jealous y’all live so close? Going over to check you out!
Fun! Heading over now.
I so agree with you Camila, although I have not been at for as long as you have. It has opened up a whole new world of like-minded people for me. Even though I had been writing for SFLuxe before starting my blog I did not have the same sort of interaction, as people don’t have an opportunity to comment and one is much more approachable.
Will you be coming to the Design Bloggers Conference?
Cheers,
Claudia
