My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Victory! I just ran out of my stuff from Sephora. A trip to the drug store is in order today. TY!
what a boy Camilla! And hwat a fantastic way to start the new year!!
Dry shampoo is a must – I love it!
I really need to start using dry shampoo! I am loving all the pictures of him, he is adorable.
no need to stop with the pictures, he is so handsome. i doubt anyone could ever mind his sweet little face. congrats!!
Haven’t picked up the Suave yet, but had another friend recommend it. She said it was the best she has used even including expensive ones.
Love the dry shampoo, best invention! One thing I’ve learned after 4 kids, the shower is the only place for a little peace and quiet…it’s ok if he cries, you know he’s safe so don’t feel nervous or guilty. If it’d make you feel better you could put him in his seat in the bathroom with you…maybe the sound of water will keep him asleep…
I second Colleen–I remember the inability to shower often when home with my first…but after more kids, you learn that as long as they are safe while you are in there, it’s ok if they cry for a few minutes while you shower….or do the dishes…or put in laundry… :-). Definitely will have to try out the dry shampoo though as sometimes I just need a quick-fix as opposed to a full shower/style!
Ha! I know how that goes! I used to be an every other day washer but now it’s once a week. Yikes! Weirdly, I like how my hair looks at the end of the week. I’ll have to check out the dry shampoo.
You have me lavghing as I know all to well how quick literally means in a flash once you become a mother. Motherhood changes everything, including the basic need to shower! LOL. xoxoxo
I don’t think anyone minds the Hudson posts – he’s adorable!
Thanks for the dry shampoo tip…$3?! I’m running to Target now…
He is adorable. I have a 3 month old grandson, and he will not even think about sitting in his mamaroo…definitely trial and error…but nothing like him!!!
he is adorable!! congrats! and trust me, people like baby posts way more than design ones:)
So true! This is the story of my life right now – thank god for spray hair refresher! (The Treseme one is good too.) Now that I’m back at work, I’ve just started catching up on all my blog reading and hope to post to my own again very soon…lol. Thought I’d have all this time to post while on maternity leave, but the little lady had other things in mind (i.e., requesting my full, undivided attention). I don’t know how y’all do it. Congrats on little Hudson; he’s precious!!!
