My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Personally, I’m not a fan of the original ones. But I love the look of the wedge peep toes and these ballerina flats! I say treat yo self!
I really want to order a pair of the new Tom’s ballet flats but the $79 price tag is holding me back. If they were leather that’d be one thing, but that’s a lot of money for burlap shoes (I know these are linen but the ones I want are burlap)! Are they really so comfortable that its worth the high price tag? I’ve never owned a pair of Tom’s.
These are on my list!
I have been waiting for the ballet flats 🙂
What @Elizabeth said, exactly. I don’t get the appeal of the look of the original ones at all. I like them on kids though.
I’ve nearly worn through my Toms, I love them so much – but I’ve been holding out for these new flats before replacing them. So cute!
I’ve never liked the look of the original ones. The purpose and everything behind them is great but they were not for me. The ballet flats on the other hand are on my list to buy now. I love them, especially the linen ones you posted. So adorable.
I love my Toms! I have the basic canvas ones and they are so comfy!!
I’m with Hush. Love them on kids, never appealed to me personally. Though my recently pregnant sister also wore them throughout her pregnancy and is now an enthusiast.
oooo those flats look NICE!
I like the look of the ballerina flats, but I’m not a fan of the TOMS tag on the heel. Or the $79 price tag.
I have a pair of the originals, which I loved–but I do not love that they didn’t last me more than one season…they got holes in the toes 🙁 I like the flats you featured…wondering if they are the same material and are likely to get holes to fast?
I LOVE my TOMS! I would wear them to work if I was allowed to which is why I’m so excited about the ballet flats! I’m hoping they’re just as comfortable.
