Treat yo self: Week 9
This week I’m all about some cheap and chic ways you can an inject a bit of color into your life.
These twill skinny pants were only $15.80! I’ve been searching for colored pants since I was pregnant. The hunt continued after I gave birth and I tried on quite a few options at a much higher price point and I must say that while the price tag had me at hello they are super comfy and amazing!
I’ve been dying to go in for a manicure, but these last couple of weeks I have not had the time. On Friday night I decided to give myself a manicure and used this fun polish that I picked up at Target. It’s called Rise and Shine and it’s by Sinful Colors. I must say I didn’t have high hopes for it because it was only $1.99, but I loved the quality of it. It’s going to be my new go-to polish and they have a rainbow variety of colors.

As a little treat to myself I love picking up some fresh blooms. I always pick up carnations because they are so full and let’s face it cheap! Win, win.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Love all the colors. Especially the nail polish! I’m going to have to try out that brand – thanks for the tip!

I LOVE the color of those pants, but Forever 21 is so funny on sizing, and I’m definitely curvy in the pants area. I may have to embarrass myself, though, and go check ours to see if they have any! Love the carnation arrangement. 🙂
I treated myself to some flowers today too! I always get some when a winter storm is forecast and tonight is blustery and cold. I’m hoping for a snowday tomorrow so I can stay home and enjoy them!
