Weekend Recap: Fun!
Hi Loves,
Sorry for the radio silence here yesterday. Little Hudson is going through a growth spurt and wanted his Mommy all day long so blogging and work got put on hold. I hope you all had a great weekend. We had beautiful weather! We got to enjoy some sunshine and make some progress in finishing Hudson’s nursery.
Jon and Hudson took some time to enjoy the sun in their matching t-shirts and now hair-do’s!!!! That’s right Jon shaved his head!!!!
We hung some lucite bookshelves:
We installed some plug in sconces and gave them a little face lift to look built in:

We also used a traditionally unused space behind the door and added some personal artwork (it’s a piece my Uncle painted for me when I was little. I’m actually in the painting!) and some elephant hooks for easy/handy bib storage:
When we were working on Hudson’s room we were out and about all over town. I was happy that my new clutch had arrived and easily fit in Hudson’s stroller.
Here is the happy boy in his car seat! Can you believe he turned 3 months old on the 14th.
Ah so sweet! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We have Spring fever over here. We are suppose to hit high 70’s this week! Warm weather not only means lots of walks, but also more painting projects outside. Any projects you are itching to start now that the weather is warming up?

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
He is so sweet. Love the way his room has come together!
He is beyond adorable! So so sweet. As is his room! I really want that clutch too:)
