Scenes from my weekend…

1. How cute are my two Easter Bunnies! Hudson had two bunny hats, which of course meant that Daddy needed to get in on the action as well.

2. One of my main artwork pieces came in for Hudson’s room. I’m so excited to get it a framed. I had a minor snag with the nursery. Something is going on with my workroom and they messed up his roman shades twice! I now need to order more fabric so we are on a little delay with the big reveal.

3. We finally hosted a holiday at our home. On Easter Sunday we had some family over and it was lovely, but now I’m exhausted. I had massive plans to do a whole post on a tablescape I had envisioned, but I couldn’t find the proper supplies so I went with a simple flower arrangement instead. Love hydrangeas for their pouf and used white carnations to finish filling up the vase.

4. Towards the end of my pregnancy my hair started growing like a weed. It was out of control. So this momma finally took some time out and got a massive trim. I cut over 5″!

get inspired with our own home tour

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
