Like always I hoped you had a lovely weekend. We had a fun filled weekend which ended with all of us passing out at 7pm on Sunday night.
We started out our weekend with a quick trip to Target to pick up some supplies (diapers and wipes) and ended with some treats as well:
{Even though I love my macbook and iphone I still love using a notebook to jot down to-do lists and client notes.}
Some vintage trim I ordered on etsy arrived in my mailbox. Hudson gave it his seal of approval.
We also headed out east to Bridgehampton to have a little blogger date with the lovely Sarah from Chevron and Stripes.
{We were so busy chatting that I never got a shot of the two of us or her amazing summer house. Bad blogger!}
After our visit we headed into town and ate some lunch at Bobby Van’s.
Where Hudson had loads of fun sitting in a high chair.
When we got home Hudson and his Daddy practiced some gymnastic moves. What can we say, we are excited for the summer Olympics.
On Sunday we headed out on our boat. I hadn’t been out on it all season and it was Hudson’s first trip on the boat. He had fun testing out the Captain’s chair.
{Look at those amazing rolls on his legs. So yummy! }
Jon loved showing Hudson one of his favorite activities. How cute are my two men?
{*Don’t worry little Hudson had a life jacket that he wore while we were out on the water. He just had it off while we were stopped and snapping some shots.}
Monday has come way too quickly, but at least we get another little break this Wednesday to celebrate the 4th of July!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
Had so much fun! And yum, I ate at Bobby Vans for dinner last night! Next time we need to snap a pic of the two of us 😉
That last picture with his daddy is precious! Glad you had a good weekend.
Looks like a good weekend. I love being so totally, happily exhausted that there’s no option other than falling into bed while it’s still light out.
I’m glad you had such a good weekend! Your little one is so gorgeous! 🙂
