And the timing couldn’t have been better 🙂 I just found THE most perfect french-inspired dresser for our master bedroom, which I’m thinking of painting/refinishing. And, of course, that project will call for new hardware. And I found the absolute most ideal hardware match at D Lawless – in their collection of French Romantic II Pulls and Knobs. Specifically, in the Brushed Satin Pewter Finish. I think this is my favorite piece of them all: http://www.dlawlesshardware.com/3ccfrtaripub.html I am crossing my fingers big time for this giveaway 🙂 Thank you!!!

Oh my goodness I need to win this bad. I bought a dresser at a yard sale for $15 and painted it Rustoleum’s Smoke Grey Gloss laquer paint. Now I’ve had it for a year and it holds my TV/cable/apple tv/dvd player and yet has NO pulls. Had I been smart, I would’ve picked out knobs before painting and filled in some holes with filler. Alas, I didn’t and now have 20 (yes TWENTY) drawer pulls to fill on this dresser in my living room!! I think i like Heavy Solid brass Cabinet or Furniture Pull best!

  47. Sara says:

Your jade pulls are gorgeous! I am obsessed with using glass knobs in our house, to mimic and highlight all the original doorknobs in our 80 year old house. Theirs are great! My favorites are the crystal clear and the diamond ones. I should order from them because my Hobby Lobby cheapies keep losing the glass part when my kids use them!

It’s good to see they have a nice selection of switch plate covers…I think I need the ceramic and silver ones for my retro bathroom. I also like the fireworks patterns in the pie tin section. I think they would be cute stand alone wall art in a kitchen, too.

Thanks for the chance to win!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
