My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I can’t wait to see which one you chose – and the sneak peek looks gorgeous! I’ve ordered three prints from her, and all are gorgeous and she was kind enough to do one in a different size for me. I love her shop, and I’m sure I’ll be back for more in the future.
I absolutely love her paintings!! They are going both in clients’ homes and my house sometime in the future, for sure! Thanks for the great info.
I love the colors in Hudson’s room and the art you have already used. Yangyang Pan’s prints are bright and gorgeous and I can see them being used in many places. I like introducing art to children as early as possible. Lee (I am pinning this to Pinterest with credit to Yangyang and your blog)
I spy with my little eye a super cute elephant!!
Actually a lot of super cute elephants, I love his room!!
where are those acrylic shelves from??? please do tell!
Hi Mia,
I had it custom made from an acrylic company. Then I just used ikea brackets that I spraypainted in gold.

They are fantastic!!! Way to go, what a great idea! Were the custom acrylic shelves pricey???
What do you think the max length they can be without bowing in the middle?
I love your blog, especially the DIY pillows!
