My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
One of my favorite movies and just caught it late night recently.
I love this film!!! So much. This one and That Touch of Mink with Cary Grant.
Love the phones, too!
Our phone looks like this but is yucky beige (original color). I should spray paint it – these phones are so cute!!
I love ohiopicker! It’s one of my favorite shops on Etsy! These phones look amazing! I have one that is originally red and I’m keeping this idea in mind just in case I get tired of its color one day! 😉
A new paint job…and BUTTONS where the dial was! I’m sure Doris had one of those pens they made back in the day that had a ball on one end you could insert into the dial to turn it and not ruin your manicure!
I LOVE Pillow Talk! And I also love that she’s an interior designer- and love what she does with his place 😉
Those phones are awesome. Are home phones actually going to make a comeback, I wonder?
Oh yeah!! A green one for me please 🙂 We had one just like this. Except it was more ugly khahi green than beautiful emerald….
I liked this blog before but I really like it now when you talk about Doris Day! Love her movies and loved Pillow Talk. I sing Roly Poly quite often although just realized that is from A Touch of Mink. Either one, I will take it!
