Hope you had a great weekend! We had a lovely weekend and were sad to see it go so quickly!
Hudson wore real shoes for the first time:
Went to our favorite bakery/cafe and ate some yummy lunch and this time Hudson actually got to eat with us:
Hudson enjoyed it!
We of course made sure to also stop in the bakery station. Check out this case:
Then we headed to the near by beach to check out the water:
Hudson and Daddy also hammed it up for the camera:
Since Saturday was all fun on Sunday we decided to mix a little work in with some family time.
On a totally random note I decided to go make up free all day and while it felt really weird at first to walk out without even a bit of concealer or lip balm by the end my skin felt much better and I forgot I wasn’t wearing any make up by the afternoon.
Since my OKL Tastemaker sale went so well I decided to sign up to become a vintage marketplace vendor! So we’ve been sourcing NY for unique vintage finds. This weekend we found this amazing bar set!
We also went to Lowes to pick up some mirrors for a project we are working on. Hudson thought it was a snooze.
We didn’t need this mirror for our client, but it I had to share it. In the picture it looks really traditional, but the lines are classic and the finish is actually a high gloss lacquer! Very chic and a great price point!
When we got home I also did a little more and tried to narrow done colors on the new addition to my business that I’m working on. Here is a little sneak peek:
Found the perfect pairing with a new fabric I’ve been dying to use and some vintage trim I’ve been storing away for a rainy day.
I wrapped up the weekend with a little more personal business and printed out Hudson’s baptism invites:
Whew! I’m tired and already looking forward to next weekend! I wasn’t able to go clothes shopping this weekend, but thanks for all of the tips on Friday! Planning on heading out today for a little and trying to get Columbus day sales!
Your family is adorable and I LOVE the invitation…oh and the fabric- so pretty! I had no idea you could just sign up to be a vintage vendor on OKL- want to do that too!!!
Oh Lisa don’t worry! It was a just productive weekend! Typically it’s much more hanging out and keeping Hudson entertaining then actually accomplishing stuff. 🙂

Oh thank you! Working a new little soon to be big project for an additional part of my business. Still in research/planning, but will share as soon as soon as I have made more steps. 🙂

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]

Love Hudson’s shoes! So adorable! You make my head swim with all you get done so quickly!

I have a little bar set just like that only with just two bottles. Wonder where I can sell it? Hudson’s shoes are adorable!
Try ebay or etsy! I think someone would snatch it up quickly for their bar set up!
