My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Yea! Love this office. And you’ve actually given me inspiration for my own. I’ve had a rough time with that room because it’s half office and half guest bedroom. I love the space. It has three huge windows, is light and airy, but it also has this strange little shallow alcove. I had dinky shelves there, but ripped them down last weekend. Between the bee stencil and the roman shades in this, I’m ready to finish that space!
I love this office! It is high up on my inspiration list for when I finally redo my own office space. The curtains are by far my favorite part. I think I like the original photo best because I’m just not a Chevron fan.
I’ve been googling this woman and her office for what seems like eternity, and STILL cannot find the identity of the fabric on those windows! Can anyone help?
I am so drawn to the chevron rug version – that pop of pattern is very attractive to the eye!
Thanks, Camila, for the kind words. I love your blog! In answer to Melissa’s question: the window shades in my office are made with a fabric by Schumacher called Lansdale Bouquet Spring Fabric (#173070). It’s vibrant and pretty–and inspiring! xx Marlien @ lecatch.com
That’s a wonderful outfit, love the bright red pants!
