Blog Hopping…

I love going to the library and getting to see rows and rows of books just full of potential. You never know which one could be new favorite so it’s fun to browse the aisles and see what catches my fancy. In the blog world I feel like people’s blog rolls do that for me. I love heading to one of my favorite blogs and seeing what’s on their daily reading list.
When a re-did the blog a couple of years ago the trend was to go without blog rolls so I did just that and I must say I miss seeing all of my daily reads on the side bar. Don’t worry I’m undergoing another re-vamp just tweak things a bit and I will be adding a new blog roll.
Lately with design clients, family, baby, and blogging I haven’t had as much time to check out new to me blogs. Last night I was literally looking at a blank screen in WordPress for hours, because I had no ideas for a blog post today. Normally when I read other people’s blog someone’s post will pop an idea into my head and through that I will formulate blog post ideas. Well lack of blog hopping and wrapping up another crazy week with massive snow, power outages and a gas shortage I was simply on empty when it came time to be inspired for today’s post.
This morning it hit me that my blog readers were probably the best people out there to let me know what’s on their blog radar and who I should check out for inspiration. So, if you have a free moment I would love for you to leave me a comment and send new blogs my way!

get inspired with our own home tour
ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I just found http://blog.imbreannarose.com/ the other day. While she’s not an interior design blog per se, her aesthetic is so gorgeous I could just sit and soak it up all day! You could also check out http://sapandsea.blogspot.com/ (my blog) I admittedly have no idea what I’m doing and am super new at this, but I really enjoy the creative outlet and the adventure of turning my city apartment into home on an intern’s budget… a.k.a just some free coffee from time to time 😉

I’ve been looking for new blogs to read too! I am always looking for inspiring/ different blogs. I just discovered Damsel In Dior (which isn’t new, but new to me) and she is pretty fabulous. I must check back to see what others recommend!
