I’ve been blogging for a little over 4 years now. I sometimes feel like a grandma in blogger years. It’s all changed so much since I started. In the beginning we will all on blogspot with standard themes that we simply customized by color. Now it’s the world of wordpress, $1,000 + custom blog designs, staying connected and being active on facebook, twitter, pinterest, tumlbr. The list goes on and on. I’m exhausted trying to juggle all of them. I have recently decided that I can’t be perfect at all of those tools above, but I will try and figure out what my favorites are and inject them into my daily routine.
My latest favorite has been around for awhile, but I only started it up a couple of months ago and I’m hooked. At first I had it set to private, but last month I made it public and I would love to share it with you.
At first as a new mom I simply used it to make all of my pictures of Hudson look extra pretty. Hence the private setting. I didn’t think my readers would love a feed full of Hudson doing this or that or frankly just doing nothing and looking handsome.
I finally started to use to take pictures of work projects:
Inject a bit of my personal fashion style:
Along with some beauty fun since I’ve been on a lipstick kick lately:
Plus some pictures of my main squeeze still manage to make it in:
I’m completely hooked with it and recently started adding people on to my feed. I love getting like sneak peeks into the daily life of my favorite bloggers.
I would love to have you follow me. My username is cpavone0107. If you have an instagram account I would love to check it out. Please leave your username in the comments!
I feel the same way trying to keep up with all the blog designing and social media! Instagram is the one thing I have yet to get…mainly because I have a Windows Phone and the app is not available on there yet! 🙁 hopefully soon!
I have been reading your blog for a few years and I love it! I have never commented before but wanted to let you know I also follow you on intstagram! It is my favorite app! I don’t have facebook so it is a way for me to actually be a part of society. Your photos are great – you have inspired me to pair the buffalo check with red lipstick. Plus the pictures of Hudson are adorable!!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
