This weekend started out right with my new bedding from Crane and Canopy. Can’t wait to show you guys what I picked! I’m dying to put the new duvet and shams on the bed, but I’m also terrified Hudson or the dogs are going to get it dirty in a matter of seconds.
Went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s and had a little fun:
{Love that Hudson’s new raincoat coordinated with my parents toss pillows! Room reveal on their family room coming real soon. It’s been done for months, but I haven’t gotten pictures done yet.}
Cleaned up the shoe section of my closet and realized there were too many pairs that I never wore so I started to take older pairs out for a spin. Took these cute heels out on Saturday.
Took my shoes for a spin to pick up wood for some decking Jon is building for a new shed we picked up.
{Hudson was obsessed with helping Jon this weekend. From helping Jon remove trees and clear up area for the shed to pushing the cart with wood this little guy was smitten with being Daddy’s assistant. }
Came home to fun a package with my latest find from Belquist:
{Can’t wait to show you what I picked out!}
Sunday I had the rare treat of taking a couple of minutes to myself and taking a shower while my men played outside in the yard. No, little man busting in bathroom or screams from the other room. Just peace and quiet.
We also got to work on some painting projects that have just been waiting for nice weather in order to paint outdoors.
We still managed to sneak out and eat some lunch at our favorite bakery/cafe.
No trip out to lunch is complete with a side trip to the park on the way home.
When we got home I did a little work, clean up the house a bit and played decorator in my own home while figuring out where to put this new to me lamp.
Jon continued his work outside and I’m now getting in more excited to see the new shed go up so all of my vintage furniture finds have a home while they get some TLC. Plus once the shed is up we can concentrate more on the deck!
Of course Jon wrapped up work outside while we still have some daylight to space so we got to a play a bit before dinnertime and then bath time/ bed time madness began.
{Playing drums on Daddy’s head…I think I have a rocker on my hands.}
Here’s to a productive and hopefully quick week ahead of us. I need another weekend ASAP.
🙂
That just sounds like the perfect weekend. Productive, indulgent at times, and full of family time 😉 Can’t wait to see what you got at Crane & Canopy AND Belquist! xx, C
What bakery are those goodies from? They look amazing (and I think we live relatively close to one another, but I’m willing to travel for a good brownie). XO

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
I love how much of a helper Hudson is. He is too cute! Cannot wait to see your bedding, love.
What a nice weekend! I love the matching Batman shirts on your dudes. How cute!
That is such a fun age. I had a little helper all weekend too. You don’t get as much done, but it is far more entertaining. 🙂 Love the lamp btw.
So adorable that little Hudson!
