Happy Birthday to me!
Today I turn…32! I must be honest these last couple of week as a 31 year old have been a bit rough. I’ve had many woe is me moments where I’ve been completely stressed thinking that I should be further in my career, I’m a horrible mother, horrible wife, horrible sister, horrible daughter, and horrible friend for not juggling everything as perfectly as it seems everyone else is. I know it’s just me being hard on myself and that I’m not horrible, but sometimes you just need to break down and cry a bit and threaten to quit everything and move to some remote town with no internet. Don’t worry I talked myself off the ledge and didn’t put my house on the market and purchase a one way ticket to the boonies.
I am taking today off though from blogging and work and spending the day with my two favorite men. I may or may not have even sneaked out of town for a little get-away!
Hopefully I will be blowing out some sparkling candles tonight and wishing for a rockstar year as a 32 year old even though I still feel 16.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Happy Birthday Camila!!! I completely understand how you feel as I just ‘celebrated’ my 31 bday a month ago and felt like I wasn’t where I wanted to be career-wise. Yep, sometimes those woe-is-me moments are essential to getting the motivation and courage to move upwards and onwards, right? I hope your day is filled with lots of love and presents 😉

We are all too hard on ourselves. And the worst of it always seems to hit around a holiday or landmark day. Boo!!! Go celebrate, you are awesome and let people celebrate said awesomeness.
Happy birthday! I just turned 32 two Fridays ago. Haha! 31 wasn’t the best for me, either, but I’m not married and don’t have a child either. Ah well. Life is just never what you think it will be, is it?
