Judging a book by it’s cover…

You know we all do it. Take a glance at my bookcase and you will find many books that were simply picked up because their covers have pink and some sort of pretty illustration. Additionally if the book took place in London then it went in my cart even quicker than others.

I have always concentrated on the covers of books, but never really on the spines that is until very recently. A couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon these books in one of my magazines:

I couldn’t find any sourcing information on them, but this morning I found them on sale on One Kings Lane! Finding them on OKL led me to the vendor of the books and I’m now absolutely in love with Juniper Books. Juniper Books assembles custom book collections for you and they will even design custom book jackets for your collection!

* Sorry that there was no post yesterday. I spent my extended holiday weekend in bed trying to nurse myself back to health. I had a horrible reaction to allergies that morning and literally attended a small BBQ we were having in my PJ’s only to quickly make it back to my bed to rest up. Feeling more like myself today, which I’m so very thankful for. Hope you all had an amazing weekend.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
