Scenes from my weekend…
Ah Monday morning why oh why do you come so quickly. This weekend just flew by and I don’t have a ton to report.
Saturday we had Hudson’s godmother’s wedding to attend so the morning was spent running errands around town and then the actual ceremony, getting ready and then the party!

So happy I went bold with my colorful stripy dress. I kept getting asked if it was Kate Spade, which is always a nice compliment to receive.
On Sunday we spent the morning in bed snuggling with Hudson and watching UP.Recently Hudson has actually gotten excited to watch movies and he sits stills for most of them. Which means I’ve been ordering many movies from Amazon. So far his favorites have to be Finding Nemo and Madagascar.
Then after resting up a bit we headed into the city to help my sister and her boyfriend decorate their apt.

We laid down my favorite rug from ,Trans Ocean Petra Agra in mandarin colorway.
We got new beddingand built the new upholstered bed {It’s a steal at $386.99 for a complete bed not just a headboard by Ethan Allen!} we picked up too!
{We still something for above the bed and toss pillows, but it was nice to see it start coming together.}
We also added a secretary desk, Persian rug from E SALES RUGS{Similar option hereplus a lucite chiavari chair for only $49.99 plus free shipping!
We also hung a couple of items and then finally headed home in the early evening only to be met with rain and red brake lights on our way home.
All in all a good and productive weekend.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I LOVE that lucite chair. Amazing. Looks like a busy but fun weekend.

I love your weekend recap posts! The lucite chair looks awesome. How is the quality? I am thinking of getting two of them for our kitchen. Do you think they would hold up to everyday use?

I’ve never used this brand before so I’m not sure about the quality, but I have two lucite stools that have been through it all in the years I’ve had them and they are still going strong. I have a couple of scratches, but nothing too noticeable. I would go for it!
