Style Plan: Colorful Entry Way
One day I will own a home that has an actual entry way. Currently we are in a small cottage style house and when you open my front door you are met with a teeny tiny vestibule that has closets to the left and right and another door right in front that leads into the living room.
I already have the perfect style plan for my one day entry way that I simply had to share with you all today.
I love abstract art and it was love at first site when I spotted the work of Anne Harper.I loved her bold use of color and how playful her pieces were. My favorite piece is called Persuasion and it quickly became the focal point of my entry way.
Of course an entry way requires a couple more items so to finish up the look I added:
Strut console table in watermelon.
Pair of crystal ball table lamps (love the yellow cording!)
Fuchsia and orange ikat table.
Black & white striped runner
Ah one day!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Pretty obsessed with this little plan. If only I had an entryway!

I love everything about this entryway! My front door opens directly into the living room, and it has made my arrangement so much more daunting. It’s THE most rearranged space in my house for that reason. I feel like I’ve tried everything.
I love the idea of a bright pictures in an entryway. It would brighten up the whole space!
