This week I got stopped in my tracks by….

This Jonathan Adler elephant match holder.I know I don’t “need” anymore more elephant related items, but it is so sweet looking and I think it would look amazing on my bar cart.

Do you follow photographer Alice Gao on instagram? I’m one of her 600K plus followers and if you don’t you should. She has such a beautiful eye all of her images are print worthy. This week I also had the pleasure of checking out a spread on her home that was featured on Rue Daily.

Obsessed with these dot print napkins. I love how imperfect the dots look.

I must be on a dot kick, because along with the napkins I have been toying with picking up these dotty pants. I should do it, right?

Keep seeing commercials for Don Jon and I can’t decide whether or not it looks good or bad. I’m leaning towards good and think a date night might be in order to go check it out.

    That elephant match holder is pretty cute and would be adorable on your bar cart filled with a fun collection of swizzle sticks! Go for it…life is too short!

    I saw Don Jon last night! I’m a huge Joseph Gordon Levitt fan, so basically I went just to stare at him! 😉
    In the beginning I thought I was watching old episodes of Jersey Shore. With that said, I guess the point of the story was good. Prepare yourself for lots of uncomfortable sex scenes!
    If I was asked my opinion, I would wait for Blu Ray.

get inspired with our own home tour

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
