This week I fell in love with this rug. In our next house I would definitely love a library and I would use this rug and pair it with some dark peacock blue walls.

I checked out Lindsay’s feature on Glitter Guide and fell in love. Lindsay and I have been blogger friends for 5 years now and we share a mutual love of orange, elephants and animal prints so it was fun to see her home.

When Erin posted this image I knew I had to find out how much that sweet little Jonathan Adler vase cost. It’s $98,which isn’t horrible, but isn’t hit checkout right away for me. Luckily while I have toying over whether or not I need to have it I found out that JAis holding a friends and family 20% off sale from now until Monday with code FF2013.

This photograph by Kari Herer is going to be my next gallery wall purchase. Love the dark background.

Have you been following along on my pinning for HomeGoods? Signage for their Happy by Design Pinterest boards went up this week! This image I pinned has gotten a lot of interest these last couple of days.

    Hey! I have that library – not that exact rug (mine’s an antique) but close. And I love love LOVE my deep blue walls. I went through abouuuuut 20 paint samples to find it and even tried to match a West Elm catalog photo (I love that they give paint colors).

get inspired with our own home tour

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
