Treat yo self: Pocket Change

As an interior decorator and blogger I’m constantly picking up home accessories when I see a good sale or the perfect find from a thrift store. If I don’t need it or have a home for it right away I always buy it and store it my accessories closet. This way when I have a blog photo shoot I want to work on or need vintage accessories for a client’s home I have a stash of goodies.

This week well checking out Pinterest I stumbled upon this image from Grey and Scout:

How perfect is that pocket change dish? I was absolutely smitten with it at first sight.

I found that there are many vintage versions available here, but if you want one with a vintage vibe, but in perfect condition then pick one up at TERRAIN for $18!

    That is so adorable! I love having an “accessories closet”-I’m sure your’s is better stocked than mine, but I love switching out candles and little accessories, and it’s fun to have a little stash!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
