Hi All,

Hope you all enjoyed your holidays. I must say that while I was bit stressed out about taking some days off from the blog it was enjoyable to not have to worry about blog ideas. I actually put my laptop away in a drawer and didn’t take it out until last night! Like all of you I’m slowly getting out of holiday mode and trying to get back to work. Before I do that though I need to spill the beans on a little secret I’ve been keeping from you all. Back in September I got the biggest shock of my life….

You see it took me almost 3 years to get pregnant with Hudson so imagine my surprise when I just a feeling back in September that something was off and decided to pick up a pregnancy test. We were all a bit shocked, but of course excited. Another baby was always in our life plan we just didn’t know it would sneak up on us so quickly. I’ve been going crazy not telling you all, but I wanted to make sure all was okay with the pregnancy before spilling the beans. I’m a little over 4 months now and the new addition is due in early June. I will continue to work on the blog and with clients so nothing here will change except with the addition of another cutie on my weekend recap posts.

While Jon and I have now fully adjusted to our little surprise and are now in a complete excited phase instead of a mixture of excitement and shock/surprise Hudson is a ball of emotions.

He got a little baby doll for Christmas so that he could get use to the idea of what a baby is and while he doesn’t hate the doll he really wants nothing to do with it. We’ve tried to have him hold it and the answer is always no, but he is sweet when he is moving it away and places it down gently instead of flinging it on the floor. Lets hope this big brother gets a better handle on things in the coming months.
