Since the weekend germs have taken over the house. First Hudson went down like a ton of bricks on Sunday and then Jon got sick on Tuesday. I’ve been exhausted nursing my men back to health, but it looks like they are both over it and luckily for me I didn’t catch anything.
I’ve been a complete clean freak hoping to avoid getting sick. My poor hands are red from being washed so much and all sneezes go straight into a tissue! With a little 2 year old around I can’t really have tissue boxes around. Hudson thinks they are are quite the party and in a matter of minutes a room will be covered in a sea of white.
Then a pack by my desk so I can have something near by while I work:
I also keep a pack to move around when I take a little rest and snuggle with a cup of tea and good book:
Plus a pack on my nightstand that not only helps with sneezes, but with my make up removal:
Typically tissue boxes/packs can be so blah, but I was happy to see so many pretty patterns and bold colors from Kleenex to pick from! This are actually patterns I would use to use in fabrics. Do you have a good eye for pattern too? Head over here to take a short 5 question quiz to see if you distinguish the tissue pattern from the fashion pattern.
If you take the quiz you will be entered into a give-away for an all expense trip to New York, a personal visit with a design star and $5,000 for a shopping spree! Even if you don’t win you will receiving a coupon for Kleenex products so you can pick up your own chic set of package tissues.

Kleenex makes these little packs in some “manly” designs, too…I always stash one in my son’s backpack. He’s prone to nose bleeds and I’m always afraid he’ll get one while he’s on the school bus. Glad everyone is on the mend at your house!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]

I have these kleenex packs. I have one in my purse, one in my car and several in my nightstand.
I love the designs 🙂
