Treat Yo Self: Lip Service

I don’t know about you, but lately my lips have been on fire. They are so dried and cracked due to this cold weather that I’m constantly complaining. It’s gotten to the point where I have secret stashes of lip balm everywhere I go so, that I can constantly apply it.

I decided to treat myself to a couple of goodies to help get my lips back under control. Here are some of my favorites:

No.1: A striped and cheeky make up bag to hold all of my goodies.

No.2: Mary Kay Satin Lips Set: I love this set. I got one a couple of years ago and it was a favorite of mine. The lip mask helps remove all of the dead skin and gives you oh so soft lips.

No.3: Fresh Sugar Lip Balm. Seriously one of the best lip balms I’ve ever used. I got it as a sample once and was smitten. It’s the only lip balm that I would pay $23 for!!!

No.4: NYX Color Lip Balm:When I want the opaque/strong color on lipstick, but need my lips to stay hydrated and soft as well I use these balms. Love how long and dark the color is. Much longer than any other tinted lip balm I’ve used.

No.5: EOS Sphere Lip Balm:My go-to drugstore lip balm. This is what I have stashed all over the house in lots of different flavors. The pomegranate raspberry is my favorite.

    Fresh Sugar is the best! A few years ago, I got two samples from Sephora as my birthday treat, and they lasted a solid year. I finally broke down and bought the full-size one this year, and it’s just heaven.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
