When I was designing Hudson’s nursery there were not a lot of cute crib sheet options. I could have had something custom made from my workroom, but I couldn’t justify the cost when it was something that would probably get peed along with other baby bodily fluids. So, I just went to a big box baby store and picked up a handful of crisp white ones that I could rotate.
That has worked out well for Hudson, but since the new baby will be sharing his room with Hudson I wanted to make the crib a bit different and figured a stylish crib sheet was in order. What a difference 2 years makes, because I was able to find so many different options in a variety of price points.
No. 1: Ok so this oneby Candy Kirby Designsis a bit of a splurge at $65, but of course it’s my favorite and would be absolutely perfect in the space. I love how it looks like a mini piece of artwork.
No. 2: Orange plus stripes and it’s organic! Perfection by Giggle.
No. 3: The nursery has an animal sort of theme to it so, I love this zebra option from Serena and Lily.
No. 4: Keeping with the animal theme I’m in love with this field guide option from Land of Nod. It has the perfect colors and a zoo full of animals. This actually might be perfect in the toddler bed size for Hudson’s big boy bed.
No. 5: American Baby Company has a variety of cute patterns in fun colors and they are only $15.79. Would be good to pick up a couple of these to rotate.
No. 6: Aden and Anais is known for their oh so soft swaddle blankets and now they make crib sheets. Same soft muslin fabric and a variety of stylish prints like this giraffe to pick from.
Any other go-to sources that I need to know about?

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
Did you ever post any “afters” of the nursery? I can’t seem to find in your archives . . . I would love to see 🙂
