Introducing…
As you all know I got a little surprise this past Mother’s day. I had all intentions of blogging full time again this week, but we are still trying to get into a new routine. I’ve been lucky enough to have Jon working shorter days this week as we ease into life with 2 boys and it’s been so helpful.
We were even able to squeeze a little photo shoot into our day in order to share the news on what we are calling our new addition. Naming Hudson came pretty easy. We had a list of running names we liked and early on picked Hudson. With this little guy we had no clue what to name him. We had a running list again, but we quickly crossed names off and added very little on. We wanted the name to be a bit unusual like Hudson, but easy to say. I have gone through life with everyone saying my name wrong and I didn’t want that to happen to my kids.
Delivering 4 weeks early didn’t help, because we were still at a loss for what to name the baby. I was convinced we were going to leave the hospital with a Baby Boy Pavone on his name tag. We kept going back and forth between two names, but I just couldn’t pull the trigger. Finally the 1st night in the hospital I was researching both names on my phone and after finding this definition of one of the names I knew he what he was meant to be named…
Introducing Asher Dean Pavone! Unique yet easy to say and we can use Ash as a super cute nickname. Win, win.
We are completely and utterly head over heels in love with him!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

congratulations wow what a handsome baby boy. can you stand it having such good looking men in your life. 3 of them. I was wondering where you have been and praying all was for a good reason. obviously it was very good. very clever announcement photo. How is Hudson liking being BIG brother ???

Congrats! I’m not going to lie – I’ve been stalking you to find out what you were going to name baby #2 for a while. I LOVE the name Hudson, but it didn’t go with my last name very well, and I already know someone with a baby Hudson, so it was out. I am due in 3 weeks with baby boy (we already have a sweet girl named Isla) and was hoping you’d go first so I could see what name you used…. I just felt like we had the same “style.” And, so far, we’ve had only ONE name on our list. Asher.
Love the name – and it is probably going to be our sweet boy’s name too. Because we just can’t seem to agree on anything else that is unique enough but not crazy.
