My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I love your blog and the awesome posts you do for BHG. Question for you. Did you do the article Add Family Photos? It has a series of family photos tiled on a wall http://www.bhg.com/decorating/lessons/expert-advice/stylemaker-secrets-easy-upgrades-for-a-bland-space/?socsrc=bhgfb0903148#page=6
I was wondering because I wanted to know how you mounted the photos?? Were the on foam board, canvas or what?? I loved all your other posts. You have a great eye and special knack for making things looks elegant and comfy, all at the same time 🙂
Thank you, in advance!
Hi Nikki,
That is my quote, but not my image. It doesn’t look like canvas. You are right though it does look like some sort of foam board, or maybe it was mounted on wood. A did a DIY post on how to mount on wood here: https://blog.effortless-style.com/2013/04/diy-custom-framing-alternative/
Hope that’s somewhat helpful.
🙂 Camila
