My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
How do you find the layered rug working in your space? I always have trouble with them laying nicely and I usually give up. If the 1st layer is more like a berber; I have better luck.
So what do you mean -yards and yards- ?
Do you have extra you want to sell. You should definitly go through your stash and sell your “extra” yardage here or your etsy site. If you offered your mix and match patterns you put together so well I am sure you would do even better.
I would purchase your clever fabric schemes.
I find that when I layer with a flatweave it tends to work better. When I layer with a thicker rug it tends to wrinkle after a while.
I have a couple more layers left of the fabric! I will let you know if I decide to part with it. How much would you want?
I have always thought of doing mix and match fabric sets. We shall see. 🙂
I love a great floral! Can’t wait to see how you transform the chandy.
Boy oh boy do I wish I had your stash! Gorgeous fabric! Good luck with the chandy!!
I just love this! Everything looks beautiful!
