Party Prep with Michaels
In the past couple of weeks things have been changing at my local Michaels things have been changing. Aisles have been moving and there have been empty shelves awaiting something new to arrive. Little did I know that all of the moves and changes was to make room for a massive party section. All of things that I use to have to either DIY or order online from Etsy are now at my finger tips. While it made me a little sad to see that all of those little details that I find on blogs are now out there in the open for everyone and my secret society of sorts has been exposed it is super convenient to jump pop in and pick up some items when I’m running behind and need party things.
I had to share some pictures of it in all it’s glory!

Purple treat bags, streamers and banners:
Light purple pom pom trim, bakers twine, popcorn buckets and utensils!
Invitations, polka dot balloons and decorative straws in sherbert.
The rows just continue with more and more color! They even have those 36″ balloons that everyone seems to be using for photo shoots.
Plus some themed sections like sets for bridal showers, weddings, baby showers and even a BBQ. How cute would this stuff be for the 4th of July!
The best part for me was seeing the kraft brown and burlap section. I always like picking up those little containers for parties or wooden utensils.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Wow! I can’t wait to check out my local Michaels to see if they have all that cool stuff. Thanks for sharing.
