Hope you guys were up to something lovely this past weekend. I had a week full of work so I was happy to relax for a little bit.
Saturday I had a super busy day. I had breakfast with these guys before heading out the door. How adorable is Asher? He wants to do everything his brother does so he was very excited to squeeze into the same chair as well.
I then headed out to do go look for some bridesmaids dresses.
While there was a whole lot of pink out there we ended up finding an amazing bunch of non-pick dresses and my sister decided that she officially wanted to go the sparkly route with the bridesmaid dresses.
Then I was off to a baby shower! Normally I’m not a huge fan of showers, but I was seated at a great table, the decor was perfectly pink and the food was yummy! Plus I love the momma to be and can’t wait to give that baby girl a squeeze.
My evening was spent out continuing the bridesmaid dress hunt. This time we were off to Nordstrom. Love all of their chic seating nooks throughout the store.
It was a long exhausting day.
Sunday I tried to sleep in a little, but Hudson isn’t a fan of that. Once the sun comes up he demands that everyone starts moving! He starts singing, “It’s morning time” and peels open our eye lids. Ah sleep.
We relaxed a bit in the morning and then spent our afternoon at a birthday party! Hudson took off the second we arrived, but Asher is a little more reserved. He took his time to check out all of the attractions.
After a little bit he finally decided to have a little fun and we couldn’t get him off the slide.
It was so cute seeing the little kids all lined up for lunch and having little Asher in the mix. Don’t worry Hudson was there too in his neon green shirt so I could easily spy him while he ran around.
The rest of my day was spent catching up some work and hanging out at home.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
Looks like a wonderful weekend! Can’t believe those shots are from Nordstrom! I love them more and more each day!
