Treat yo self: Leather Keds
Let’s be honest I have never really had any strong thoughts on Keds. Yes, I knew what they were, but they weren’t something that I remember wearing in my childhood. A couple of years ago Kate Spade came out with a special keds collection and lured me in. I even did my own DIY polka dot kicks project.
Then this past Fall I started to get a yearning for Keds yet again when I stumbled upon leather keds! They came in a yummy tan color and I needed to have them. Luckily Santa bought them for me (Thanks JoAnn) and I sported them yesterday to a client meeting.

I’m smitten with them. So comfy and they are currently on sale for $49.95.
I also found a pair of leather slip on’swhich are just as adorable.
So, are you ready to kick it old school with me? (I could never actually say that with a straight face in real life.)

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Wow, I really like those! That’s how I can really tell I am getting older – I cant find a shoe I like or a shoe with heels I low enough that I can walk in them!!
Shut up!! Had no idea they made leather Keds! Off to check them out!
