Another weekend has come and gone and I’m still fighting this cold! My latest issue is my left ear being completely clogged. I’m going nuts with it. It’s so uncomfortable! Any tips for how to get my ear back to normal?
Here is what we were up to this weekend!
We had lots to do this weekend. We started our Saturday at a birthday party at the PRC.
We spent the afternoon at home. Hudson had to work on his homework! Can you believe he comes home with homework packets every week in his 4 year old program.
After homework we decorated our dining room for my sisters birthday! A cute celebrate banner was a perfect find in Target’s dollar spot.
I took out my new purchase from Mexico!
Used my favorite cake standfor the all sprinkles cake I ordered. So pretty!
We then headed out to have dinner at Park Place. It was such a yummy meal.
On Sunday we hit the ground running to tackle out to do list. First thing was to pick up some fuel.
First stop was to pick out groceries:
Then Home Depot for supplies!
Then home where I cooked up a bunch of projects for the blog:
There was a whole bunch of laundry and cleaning in between, but that’s no fun to post about.
Our night ended watching Grease! I didn’t think I was going to watch, but it was so good! Grease has always been one of favorites along with Grease 2. I sang along the entire time. Hudson wasn’t too amused.
Try a heating pad on your ear. I hope you feel better soon.
That was a FULL weekend! I enjoy your monday posts every week. Thanks for taking the time to post.
The tall birthday candles are from Target. I have started to use truncated posts when I have posts with lots of photos. Is it working okay for you or are you having issues using it?

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]

Thanks Sarah! I have tried the heating pad and nothing. Literally going bonkers!
Tall candle source? Grease has always been one of my favorites too!
Also, did you switch to truncated post?
Hi Debra,
The tall birthday candles are from Target. I have started to use truncated posts when I have posts with lots of photos. Is it working okay for you or are you having issues using it?
