Fine China Tablescape
My sister’s big day is quickly approaching and we are around the 6 week mark. All of the major decisions have been done and now we are just left with the fun! Her bridal shower is at the end of this month and I have been enjoying reliving the joys of a wedding registry. Loads of gifts that I already picked out so, I know I will love it? Sign me up! I also remember obsessively checking my registry to see when items started being purchased and trying to figure out the day of my surprise shower.
In shopping her registry for said shower I started doing a little window shopping of my own and came up with a fun fine china tablescape that I would love to be gifted. 🙂
No. 1 Kate Spade Waverly Pond Dinnerware Collection: I love how dainty and feminine this set is. I can totally see myself having a cup of tea with this set. I don’t think Jon would really be on board with it, but it’s my blog so, we can pretend.
No. 2 Kate Spade Malmo Flatware Collection: With all of the detailing on the dinnerware I would keep things simple with the flatware. This set is sleek and traditional.
No. 3 Dot & Dash cotton napkins from Terrain: Love the little pops of orange/coral in the napkin drawing out the same colors from the plates. I would love to pair it with this tablecloth as well.
No. 4 Lattice Double Old Fashioned Glasses: Love how the lattice pattern on the glassware mimics the diamond pattern on the border of the plates.
No. 5 Daphne Wine Glasses: I’m all about the mix so I would go with a different wine glass like this one. The copper detailing on the bottom of the glass adds a warm tone to the tablescape and works well with the rose gold flatware.
So, who is coming to dinner?

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fun! My bridal shower is in less than two weeks, and I am getting so so excited. We are having a VERY short engagement, so I didn’t have all that much time to scour the internet for ideas, but I am pleased with what we came up with. 🙂
Unrelated to any tablescape, but if I could find a gingham-ball trim like in your header, I’d be a happy happy girl.
I know! It’s amazing trim! I wish I had more of it. I only bought a yard. It was from JOANN’s but it was in their clearance section a couple months back so not sure if it’s still available.
