2017 Planner Round Up
A new year means a brand new planner! Truth be told I have yet to find the perfect planner for me. I try a new one out every year and while I always have the best intentions of using it all year round I end up shoving it in a drawer and figuring out my life via post it notes.Last year I ended up with a better system where I picked up small notebooks and have one for personal, one for design clients and one for consulting clients and I was able to keep track of everything that way. I tend to write a lot so I never feel like planners have enough writing space for me. Notebooks worked out really well for me.
Of course it doesn’t stop me from wanting a pretty planner! Here is a round up of what caught my eye this year.
No. 1 Sugar Paper is always a favorite in the planner department. Basically anything and everything they make is simply beautiful. Loving the look of this thin black stripe planner.
No. 2 This colorful planner with gold accents just screams Camila! I spied it across the floor at Paper Source and it was love at first sight. Wouldn’t it make the prettiest art print?
No. 3 This is my first year seeing a Fringe planner and I’m really enjoying it’s simple yet chic look to it.
No. 4 The Day Designer catches my eye every year. They have the most beautiful covers and this year the palm leaves version is my favorite. Any little thing that lets me think about a warm tropical vacation is a win for me.
No. 5 How cute is this planner from Rifle Paper Co? I love all of the colors in it and the inside is just as beautiful with floral accents and uplifting quotes sprinkled throughout.
No. 6 Sugar Paper hits it out of the park again with this stunning chambray covered agenda. Love the gold stamped title on the front and the inside is just as pretty! Mainly I just love that it’s covered in fabric! I might have to give this one a spin!

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I used Erin Condren’s for 2016 and I’m trying another one that only lasts through august right now- but I’ll likely switch back to Condren’s then. Its one of those things where you can’t put your finger on why the layouts and everything work so well, it just does. And all the pretty design adds to the fun.
