Another day, another gift guide. I know every blogger out there is doing them, but I find them super helpful so, I hope you do to! I searched high and low to find unique gift ideas that will hopefully make any men in your life happy! No more ties, dvd’s or World’s Best Dad mugs. Now I tried to pick a mix of items that would work with different types of men. I have always called Jon my renaissance man, because he is annoyingly good at everything. Love you, sweetheart. So, this gift guide is an ode to him!
No. 1 I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love the Rapper’s Delight performance in the Wedding Singer. I know it’s a crowd favorite at my house. Loved this art print with the lyrics. Plus it’s chic looking and you can hang it up in your family room, etc.
No. 2 Jon has a lot of tools. More than I know what to with so, I’m always picking up tool bags, which aren’t really designer friendly. But how stylish is this waxed canvas bag? Love the look and it’s made for tools. Win, win.
No. 3 I recently learned about Zagg covers for ipads. This rugged version is multi layered to keep your ipad safe no matter what and it has a clip on keyboard. I get tired of a touch screen quickly especially when I want to use my ipad to write up an email, so the keyboard was a big draw for me.
No. 4 I’m just going to say it step trackers are normally really ugly! I love the look of this Blaze Fitness Watch and I would upgrade and add this leather band.
No. 5 There is no glamping in this family. Jon loves the outdoors and when we go camping it’s all about tents, sleeping bags and going potty in the wilderness. Fun times. It actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I really enjoyed when we did it in Lake George a couple of years ago. So, anything camping related is always a win with him. I think he would enjoy the addition of this book to his survival guide collection. It’s literally the only books he will read.
No. 6 Yeti products are extremely well known and loved in the outdoor community. Only issue is the high price tag. So, Jon won’t be getting a Yeti cooler from me anytime soon, but a tumbler can easily be done. Pair it with a personalized leather handle and now you totally have me on board.
No. 7 Electronics are always a good gift and Jon is always a fan of speakers. Since we do so much on our phones and ipads it’s nice to have a portable speaker to keep on hand and use for music and videos.
No. 8 Star Wars is big with all of the Pavone men. I went most of my life never having to know anything about the franchise, but now it’s part of my everyday language. I think Jon would love this cool stormtrooper cell phone charger. Great stocking stuffer.
No. 9 The boys love waffles and it’s their breakfast every day. Now they typically get Eggo’s but on Saturdays Jon always makes a big breakfast for us. I think this Death Star waffle maker will get used constantly in my household. Jon loves his syrup by Aunt Jemima, but if your man has more sophisticated palate I would pair it with this syrup.
No. 10 Any bloggers husband is well versed in the art of taking a photo. I think this stylish camera with leather trim would be perfect for the photographer, art lover, hipster in your life.
No. 11 Now this sling shot will probably cause a visit to urgent care, but I’m sure fun will be had before hand.
No. 12 Stuck in a cubical or office all day? Switch out your plain jane keyboard for this bamboo keyboard and mouse set.
No. 13 I know more Star Wars, but what can I say they are obsessed men around here. Love the look of this wood print.
No. 14 Flash lights make Jon super happy. Me? Not so much, but alas this is my men’s gift guide. I was searching for something to strike his fancy and I hit the nail on the head when I found this set of telescoping flashlights. Not only do they have an arm that extends out and does the telescoping, but it’s magnetic so, if you are working on your car and drop something in the under the hood area it will help you get that bolt that may have fallen to the ground.
Whew! Hopefully you found something cool to gift to the men in your life. Do you have a great go to man’s gift that I must know about?
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
Thanks for putting these together!
There’s a podcast called Star Wars minute that goes through each minute of each movie with lots of inside jokes (including LI references). My fiance listens daily
I am buying three of these gifts for my husband. You are a lifesaver!
Yay! Happy to help!
