I’m sure you have heard the term millennial pink thrown around in the past year. According to the definition of a millennial I’m actually one of them even though I feel much older than that and I have never really heard anyone use the term in person. On social media and the internet it runs rampant! But, what exactly is millennial pink? Most say that it’s a mix of dusty rose and baby pink. Not sure why they think just millennial’s are into it. I think it’s a pretty timeless color and I just call it blush and I have always been a fan of it. I’m a pink girl thru and thru and when I find the palest shade of it I’m even know to call it a neutral and convince husbands to give their approval on it.
Here are some of my favorite tickled pink furniture finds that you can inject into your home!
No. 1 Eileen Blush Slub Velvet Bench: Love this bench because the lines are so chic and unique. Looks like a much bigger ticket item than it actually is. I also really enjoy that the slub velvet, because it has a bit of texture.
No. 2 Linen Petal Pillowtop Ottoman: Love the size of this piece, because you could easily use it as a coffee table with a tray on it. Also really enjoy the brass legs. Swoon.
No. 3 This stunning blush pink chair by Article is just perfection. I love the scale, the shade of pink, the fabric, and the price! How stunning would a pair of these be in a living room?
No. 4 Aren’t ready to go full on pink? Why not test the waters with this petite blush and brass stool. A pair of these would look great under a console table.
No. 5 This pink and brass bench is the best purchase! I ran over to them when I saw them in the store! They are only $99 and I wanted to add one to my cart immediately, but I literally had no where to put it.
No. 6 I think this pink faux fur stool with acrylic legs would be perfect for a vanity set up.
No. 7 How amazing would a dining room table look with these chairs surrounding it. What a chic and glam dining room it would be!
No. 8 I love the silhouette on this upholstered bench! It has a little mid century nod to it and I think it would look so great in that style room or even a boho California style room.
So, are you brave enough to go to the pink side? Do, you think millennial pink is here to stay? I think it’s timeless and we will always see it in home decor and fashion, but I do have my eye on another pale shade that I think will be making it big this year! Any guesses?
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
