Whenever I find amazing pieces for an amazing price point I can’t help but share them. It’s like when I get a compliment of a cute piece of jewelry or outfit that looks like a million bucks, but really was a crazy find from Old Navy or better yet a store I use to have near me called PayHalf. Classy. Do I keep my mouth quiet and just say thanks! Nope, I scream and tell everyone that it was from the clearance area of whatever big box retailer it’s from and that it was $4! So, my big mouth is your good fortune. Today’s treat yo self post ended up being a round up of amazing finds from Urban Outfitters current home sale and they would all just so happen to work perfectly together in a room! A room in a bag if you will!
No. 1 How stunning is this wall tapestry! I love all of the brushstrokes and colors. I would totally stretch it onto a wooden frame like I did in this DIY Stretched Frame for artwork post. So easy and a big impact!
No. 3 I’m having a moment with this shade of orange. They call it peach, but I think it’s a touch bolder than traditional peach. It reminds me of a creamsicle shade of orange and I’m into it. Plus this sofa is a sleeper sofa. Two in 1 furniture pieces are always a good idea if you have a small space.
No. 4 My other favorite color obsession, which I think is going to be big in 2018 is lilac! It was my favorite color as a child and I still have a soft spot for it. I easily love it paired with my creamsicle orange. Perfection. I didn’t realize I needed a lilac wooden chair until I found this one, but now I can’t stop thinking about it.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
